| New: Sample list of live websites in the inclusive name space. | About the .BIZ TLD |
||
|
There are many more TLD's in several roots in the "inclusive name space." .BIZ is just one. This registry has four TLD's at this time: .NPO (Non-Profit Organizations), ONLINE (generic), ETC (generic) and, of course .BIZ which is obviously commercial, and is the oldest of the three. We will be adding more. Other roots represented in the inclusive name space are The PacificRoot (evolved from the Nomad Internetwork which was established in 1985), NARSC (NorthAmerican Root Server Confederation), OpenNic, CINICS, and others. Other registries in the inclusive name space roots have TLD's open for registration also. Some of those are .MART, .OCEAN, .HERE, .EARTH, .Z, .USA and many more. Before you register your .BIZ domain, you must read and accept our Terms of Service For information on how to be able to see all the TLD's outside of the root system you are used to (the one that ICANN controls), go to YouCann.here. If you can't see it, you need to make a simple change in your computer settings, so go to YouCann.org for now and get the instructions. :) And, oh yes, don't worry. All it means is that you get to see the "rest of the internet" as well as the usual .com, .net and .org that you are used to. You should probably let your ISP know that you have a domain name in The PacificRoot Root Zone and that you expect your ISP to resolve to that root so everyone on their system can see the whole Internet too! In the meantime, pass the word to get the instructions at YouCann.org if they can't see YouCann.here! |
